- Blackbird Friday!
- Steel
As a small business which only designs and makes (in the UK) what we need to meet customer orders, we do not partake in Black Friday (nor Cyber Monday!) Instead, we like to celebrate the beautiful blackbird on Blackbird Friday!
Our name "A Blackbird Sang" is taken from a line in Adlestrop, a poem by Edward Thomas:
"And for that minute a blackbird sang
Close by, and round him, mistier
Farther and farther, all the birds
Of Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire"
And we feature the Blackbird throughout many of our designs. The most popular being our Blackbird with worm silhouette. Blackbird Friday is all about the blackbird for us!
